Descripción

Silex is a creation by Céline Wright for Atmosphere d'Ailleurs. The Silex are made up of six superimposed layers of paper, that is, 260 diamond-shaped strips glued by hand. The vertical suspension hangs with a steel cable to regulate the height. It is weighted down by a black stone simply placed on the ground and tied with a Japanese-style black cord. The black stone collected on the way to an old forge in Franche Comté, on the banks of a river, is a recycled waste from this defunct industry.
